Humans of SIIC

As a development professional, SIIC was an uncharted territory for me. However, the extensive support from the leadership and peers made it easy to navigate the entrepreneurial landscape in no time. I had the chance of working alongside disruptive, unconventional innovators, learning from veterans in the incubation ecosystem. Working under Prof. Bandyopadhyay made me realise that the best of leaders are driven by empathy and a vision to transform lives, qualities that inspire me every day.

SIIC imparts a tremendous cross functional development which has enhanced the overall growth of my career. At every step, I always had the support of my team and seniors. I wiil always take it as a privilege to have worked with a group of talented, motivated individuals who are ready to lend advice, share knowledge and help me perform my best, no matter what.

Being part of an institution like IIT Kanpur is a dream for many and my journey here, has been a great one as, I was fortunate enough to get a chance for working at SIIC as Young Professional Fellow. I have worked in various aspects from International Affairs to Social Tech/ Clean Tech and MSME Projects as a part of my role. My career escalated to the Assistant Manager position within the 1st year at SIIC, which I record as a milestone achievement and opportunity. I would like to thank the whole team of SIIC which gave me a wonderful working environment and a great learning experience, which I will carry for the rest of my life.

My role at SIIC IIT Kanpur gave me a magnificent opportunity, enhancing my understanding towards the business aspect of the biotech industry. SIIC is highly supportive of startups and goes above and beyond to help entrepreneurs. The incubation centre provides beneficial resources and facilities for startups to grow and contribute to the bio-ecosystem of the country. I am thankful to the management for giving me the opportunity to work closely with the SIIC team.

I have been associated with SIIC IIT Kanpur for 1.7 years and I can proudly say I've had an empowering experience with the incubation centre. I worked closely with opportunities in executing various projects and initiatives which have helped me in building skills and confidence to a very large extent.

It has been an amazing journey with SIIC, right from the day one when I started my career as Young Professional Fellow.Working for SIIC have been very educative, exciting and inspiring.The best part is that working with SIIC has given me an opportunity not only to explore new technology areas but also to explore ourselves. I have gained a great deal of knowledge from SIIC and it would really help me in my future prospects.
