Overview

Building on the momentum of previous collaborations, the ASEAN-India Start-up Festival 2024 is set to be a transformative event that brings together the brightest minds and most innovative start-ups from India and ASEAN countries. This annual festival is led by the Foundation For Innovation & Research In Science & Technology (FIRST) at IIT Kanpur, in collaboration with the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. It aims to foster entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic growth across the region.

The ASEAN-India Start-up Festival 2024 is designed to create a dynamic platform where growth-stage start-ups can showcase their innovations, network with industry leaders, and explore collaboration opportunities. Eligibility

  • Operational Experience : Startups must have been in operation for at least two years.
  • Indian Ownership : Only Indian startups with 51% or more shareholding by Indian shareholders are eligible.
  • Prototype Ready : Startups should have developed at least a beta prototype of their product.
  • Focus on Deep Tech & Sustainability : Eligible startups should demonstrate a strong focus on deep tech innovations and sustainable solutions.
  • ASEAN Market Relevance : Preference will be given to startups with products suited to the ASEAN market.
