A Method of Measuring BMP Signaling using BMP Responsive Reporter Cell Line

Non-Confidential description of the invention

The invention is a method of measuring Bone Morphogenetic Proteins (BMP) signaling using cell line, and more particularly to measuring BMP signalling using BMP Responsive Immortal Reporter (BRITER) cell line expressing a single expression system comprising two reporter systems. BMP signaling pathway is critical for vertebrate development and tissue homeostasis. BMPs are used to induce the formation of bone and cartilage during fracture healing and bone repair.
