Arginine Derivatives as Polyglutamine Aggregation Inhibitors

The present invention discloses a pharmaceutical composition comprising, arginine derivatives responsible for inhibiting peptide aggregation and maintaining their solubility and stability inside the cell. The arginine derivatives have been evaluated for inhibition of aggregation of gene encoded polyglutamine rich peptide fragments which are responsible for various neurodegenerative diseases like Huntington’s disease.
