The present invention relates to a RF gas sensor and manufacturing method thereof. More particularly, the present invention relates to a RF gas sensor for the qualitative sensing of harmful gases present in the surrounding environment, for the purpose of environmental, industrial, bio-medical, remote sensing applications etc. An object of the present invention is to provide a highly efficient and sensitive gas sensor for the detection of toxic gases present in a surrounding environment, to provide a highly sensitive RF resonator sensor loaded with Carbon Nanotube coated Carbon Fibers (CNTCF) for sensing the toxic gas present in the concentration of as low as 200ppm, through observing the shift in the resonant frequency of the sensor.
