Stabilized Material for Subgrade Pavement

Non-Confidential description of the invention

The invention is a stable material, to be used in the pavements, that is obtained from a mixture of waste material. The waste materials commonly available in India are rice husk ash (RHA), Portland slag cement (PSC) and steel slag (SS). The combinations of rice husk ash and steel slag in soil stabilization are limited. Its a mixture obtained from four materials i.e., soil, steel slag, lime, and rice husk. Lime is rich in CaO and RHA & SS are rich in SiO2, so the three mixtures can form a cementitious material.
