NIRMAN Accelerator


Overview

Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC) IIT Kanpur's NIRMAN Accelerator program is supported by the Department of Science and Technology’s NIDHI scheme portfolio. Through this accelerator program, SIIC intends to support manufacturing-focused startups to overcome the challenges from their prototype to market entry journey, especially in Healthcare and Agriculture domains. The NIRMAN Accelerator will be a 6-month program that is divided into 4 segments -

  • Engineering Acceleration.
  • Navigating the compliance Puzzle.
  • Leading to the next stage of growth

Eligibility

  • Any Manufacturing Startups (51% shareholding must be with Indian Shareholders) can be part of this program.
  • The startup must be registered as a Pvt Ltd Company.
  • The startup must be developing / manufacturing products based on innovative process or technology.
  • Applicants must not be part of any other existing accelerator program.
