Prof. Manindra Agrawal received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 1991.
In 1996, he joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering
at IIT Kanpur and was appointed as the N. Rama Rao Chair Professor in 2003.
He is renowned for co-developing the AKS primality test, which led to the receipt of both the 2006
Fulkerson Prize and the Gödel Prize. Additionally, his contribution to cryptographic algorithms has
been crucial for securing communications within the Indian Navy and Air Force. In 2008, Prof. Agrawal
received the first Infosys Mathematics Prize, and in 2013, he was honoured with the prestigious
Padma Shri award, recognizing his profound impact on mathematics and beyond.
Professor Braj Bhushan is a psychology professor and Deputy Director at IIT Kanpur, specializing in cognitive neuropsychology, affective science, trauma psychology, psychological assessment, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
His key accomplishments include: Brain Based Intelligence Test (2021), Assistive Application for Children with Dyslexia and Dysgraphia (AACDD, 2019), Fellow of the British Psychological Society (2023)
He holds a master's degree from Banaras Hindu University (1995) and a PhD in Neuropsychology from BRAB University (2003).
At IIT Kanpur since 2010, he became a full professor in 2015 and has held several administrative roles, including Dean of Administration.
Prof. Deepu Philip is a faculty member of the Department of Industrial and Management Engineering and the Design Programme at IIT Kanpur. He currently serves as the Professor In Charge of Startup Incubation & Innovation Centre, IIT Kanpur.
Prof. Philip received his M.S. and Ph.D. from Montana State University, Bozeman. He has a proven track record of designing and implementing sophisticated systems of systems in various industries, including defense, aviation, strategic chemical facilities, transportation, banking, automation, healthcare, energy, and communication.

Prof. Tarun Gupta (The Pawan Tewari Goldman Sachs Sustainability Faculty Chair) earned doctorate from Harvard & MTech from IITB. He authored >150 journal publications,11 patents, two technology transfer to industry (Envirotech, Delhi and Airshed, Kanpur) and BARC & reviewer of >36 ISI indexed journals. He won INAE Innovator and Entrepreneur Award 2018, VNMM AWARD 2017, NASI Scopus Young Scientist Award 2015, INSA Medal for Young Scientist 2011, INAE Young Engineer Award 2009& IEI Young Engineer Award 2008. Research interests: development of instruments for aerosol measurement, formation of SOA, personal exposure assessment , source apportionment of air pollution, formation & control of engine exhaust emissions, human risk assessment.
Mr. Srikant Sastri is the Co-founder at Crayon Data and currently the Chairman at I3G
Advisory Network, and the President at TiE Delhi. A seasoned entrepreneur, Mr Sastri has
built and exited two successful ventures and supports several incubators across India.
After an engineering degree from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from IIM Calcutta, Mr. Sastri
worked at Unilever India and McCann Erickson.
Norbert Fernandes is a Co-founding Partner at Kenro Capital, focusing on venture capital and private equity investments in India and Southeast Asia. He is widely recognised as a leading PE/VC secondaries specialist. Previously, he co-founded IvyCap Ventures, along with holding investment roles at Temasek. His work has earned accolades from Private Equity International and the IAAIF. Mr. Fernandes holds an undergraduate degree from IIT Kanpur and a postgraduate degree from IIM Calcutta.
