CiTe technology innovation launchpad

CiTe Innovation Launchpad

CiTe is the first-of-its-kind initiative, where the startups and innovators working in the domain of civic issues. SIIC has collaborated previously with North Delhi Municipal Corporation and Kolhapur to support the highlighted CivilTech innovations. The new collaboration with Mandi, Himachal Pradesh will explore more CivilTech solutions in four primary domains: 1. Education 2. Eco-Tourism 3. Waste to value and 4. Traffic Management. The Launchpad covers INR 25 Lakhs worth innovation fellowship and prototype development support. Any Indian entity or individual is eligible to apply under the launchpad innovation fellowship.

Mandi-HP, launched the second edition of CiTe- Civic Tech Innovation Launchpad in partnership with SIIC-IIT Kanpur.In the current call for application, the focus areas are critical civic issues for Mandi – eco-tourism, sustainable and organic agriculture, waste-to-value conversion, and ecological conservation.

Kolhapur Startup Mission

Kolhapur Innovation Challenge was launched by Kolhapur Startup Mission, co-powered by the SIIC, IIT Kanpur and Kolhapur Incubation Center (KIC), with the support of DY Patil Education Group to bring startups and innovators on the same platform for solving civic issues in Kolhapur.More than 600 applications were recieved for the challenge.
