Overview

Building on the success of ASEAN-India Start-up Festival 2022, the ASEAN Secretariat, along with the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), and the ASEAN Economic Forum (AEF) have proposed the “ASEAN ScaleHub” program, set to launch alongside the GATES Enterprise Channel Summit in Bali in July 2024. This annual program aims to support growth-stage startups (scale-ups) in expanding across ASEAN and beyond, offering resources, infrastructure, and mentorship to facilitate networking, collaboration, and business scaling. The initiative aligns with ASEAN’s goals of promoting entrepreneurship and innovation and enhancing public-private partnerships (PPP) for social and economic impact. Startup Incubation & Innovation Centre (SIIC) IIT Kanpur is the lead coordinator from India. The Startup festival is supported by Department of Science & Technology.
